Preamble
Our dealings as a group are guided by our Code of Ethics. We are committed to promoting and encouraging individuality and the strengths of each member, as long as they are consistent with high-quality patient care, customer service and the larger goals of the group.

RDR Physician’s Code of Conduct
Relationship Among RDR Physicians
If an RDR physician has a problem, conflict or issue with another physician in RDR:
- The RDR physician will not complain about the situation with others inside or outside the group, or make condescending remarks about group members to others inside or outside of the group.
- The RDR physician will address the issue with the other physician privately.
- If the issue is not able to be resolved, the RDR physician will use the Professional Practice Committee and associated process to work through the issue.
- RDR physicians will support other physicians in the group and will not publicly or privately condemn each other.
Relationship with Patients
RDR physicians will treat patients with respect at all times. This will include:
- Involving patients in decision-making
- Not acting condescending or demeaning toward the patient.
- Treating the patient as a customer.
- Respecting the patient’s privacy and confidentiality.
RDR physicians will present a ‘united front’ to the patient. RDR physicians will not speak ill of other RDR physicians or their plans to patients or others.
RDR physicians will support one another to patients. If an RDR physician disagrees with another physician’s approach, they will take the issue to the physician privately.
Relationship with Technologists and Administrative Staff
RDR physicians will treat technologists and administrative staff respectfully at all times. This will include:

- Answering questions politely and as promptly as possible.
- Behaving agreeably when asked to do a procedure or attend to another patient-care task.
- Not acting condescending or demeaning toward them.
RDR physicians will not speak ill of other RDR physicians or their plans to the technologists or administrative staff.
Relationship with Referring Physicians and other Clinical Colleagues
RDR physicians will maintain a high degree of professionalism when consulting with referring physicians and their support staff, including:

- Always acting in the best interest of the patient
- Exhibiting courtesy and a willingness to help
RDR physicians will support one another to other physicians. If an RDR physician disagrees with another physician’s approach, they will take the issue to the physician privately.
